Production of lacquered aluminum foil
Lacquering of aluminum foil is the first step in the closed production cycle of yogurt lids at Elena Group Bulgaria.
Lacquered technical foil finds wide application in the rapidly developing flexible packaging market, with priority in the food and flavor industry; in construction and repair works, such as for insulation, etc.
Elena Group Bulgaria has a three-section lacquering line for technical aluminum foil, including the application of primer and thermal lacquer with automatic monitoring and drying in ovens with guaranteed technical specifications.
Main operating parameters for lacquered foil:
· Aluminum foil alloys: 8011, 8079, and 8021;
· Working width of the aluminum foil roll: 512 mm – 912 mm;
· Working thickness of the aluminum foil: 0.029 mm – 0.045 mm;
· Primer – water-based lacquer and thermal lacquer based on polyolefins and acrylate esters.
