The production of PVC Plastisols is based in Popovo, Bulgaria. Over 15 types of plastisols are produced for various purposes – suitable both for the food and flavor industry and for technical purposes.

 

All plastisols are produced under license from PPG Packaging Coatings, which oversees the entire production process from the procurement of raw materials to the testing of the finished product. Elena Group has two production machines with capacities of 2,000 kg and 450 kg, a well-equipped laboratory, and excellently trained employees with over 10 years of experience. The annual production capacity for plastisols exceeds 900 tons.

 

The products we manufacture are certified under ISO 9001:2015.

 

Depending on customer needs, the products can be packaged in various containers – 30 kg pails, 1,000 kg IBC containers, drums – up to 240 kg.

 

The suitable types of plastisol that are food contact approved are 5 types:

 

· Pasteurization from 100–105°C,

· Pasteurization for fatty foods up to 105°C,

· Sterilization up to 131°C,

· Sterilization up to 121°C,

· Sterilization for fatty foods up to 121°C,

· Plastisol suitable for coating pail lids.

 

We have developed various recipes (subtypes) of the main ones listed above, based on our experience with different clients. We have aimed both at cost reduction and at adapting to the specific characteristics of the product being preserved.
