Printing on aluminum foil is an extremely complex process, combining the technical characteristics of the base material with the aesthetic requirements of the client. The printing unit provides intermediate control – on the one hand, of the finished lacquered aluminum foil roll, and on the other hand, of the appearance and quality of the finished product – the "yogurt lid".

 

Elena Group Bulgaria has trusted the highly technological eight-color UV flexographic printing press of the renowned Dutch company MPS Systems B.V.

For printing, only low-migration UV inks are used, meeting all requirements for printing packaging intended for direct food contact.

· Suitable material for printing – technical aluminum foil and plastic foils (BOPP, PET, co-extruded, and others);

· Maximum working width of the input material roll – up to 502 mm;

· Thickness of the input material – from 25 µm to 40 µm;

· Optimal diameter of the input material roll – up to 350 mm;

· Inner diameter of the used core – 76 mm;

· Outer diameter of the used core – from 90 mm to 95 mm;

· Working screen rulings – 140; 160; 200; 260; 320; 400.
